The AUVSI Israeli Chapter received the “Chapter of the Year” Award

AUVSI has awarded the Israeli chapter the “Chapter of the Year” in the AUVSI NA conference in Las Vegas. Mr. Yuval Peshin from Simlat and Dr. David Stavitsky from Elbit Systems, chapter VPs, received the award on behalf of the Israeli Chapter president Dr. Arie Perry of IAI

Las Vegas, USA, August 9, 2012 – AUVSI awards the Israeli Chapter “Chapter of the Year” for the year 2012. The award was presented during the concluding general session of the AUVSI North America conference, which took place in Las Vegas, NV, during August 6-9. The AUVSI Chapter of the Year Award recognizes excellence in chapter management, membership growth and retention, educational programming, innovative programs or projects and member participation in AUVSI activities. Among the Israeli Chapter activities was the “AUVSI Israel” conference which took place in Tel Aviv, on March 2012. The conference was very successful, bringing over 800 attendees from around the world, working to advance the unmanned systems industry.
