FULL STACK WEB DEVELOPER

THE POSITION

Simlat Inc. (Miamisburg, OH) is looking for a talented and innovative developer with the abilities to independently and initiate ideas and tasks. In this position, the candidate will be given the opportunity to leave their footprint on one of Simlat's most innovative projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or closely related technical field, or a combination of related work experience and education

  • At least two years of full-time professional full stack web development experience

  • Modern web development experience using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, including frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, React, etc

  • Server-side development experience using Node.js, ASP.NET Core, Java, Python and/or similar technologies

  • Experience with relational databases or NoSQL databases

  • Web administration and deployment experience on third party and private infrastructure

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work individually with minimal supervision

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Comfortable with Agile software development processes and practices 

  • Experience with machine learning technologies such as TensorFlow, Caffe, etc

  • Experience with GIS technologies such as Cesium, Google Maps API, etc.

  • Experience with Single Page Web Application development

  • Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks, browser testing and debugging

  • Experience with git, continuous integration and deployment tools

  • Knowledge of server and client-side security considerations

  • Experience with web development for mobile devices

  • Desktop development experience using C# and WPF
